To import a Microsoft PowerPoint file

1. From the Insert menu, choose PowerPoint File.

   The Insert PowerPoint File dialog box is displayed.

2. Use the Insert PowerPoint File dialog box to locate and select the PowerPoint file you want to import.

   As you change folders, only PowerPoint files are listed.

3. Click Open.

Notes

• When inserting a PowerPoint file the following elements will not import:
  • Movies and sound
  • Graphics
  • Charts
  • Animation
  • Embedded objects such as Microsoft Excel Worksheets and
  • Text in boxes
• Alive e-Show imports PowerPoint 97 files only. PowerPoint files that were created using another version of PowerPoint, must be saved in this format before you can insert them into your e-show. Microsoft provides a program to convert PowerPoint 95 files to Microsoft PowerPoint 97 on its Web site.
